The Lowest Priced Level 2 Motorcycle Back Protection in the World
At Velocity Gear we believe separate or stand alone armor is more protective than standard inserts. Here are some of the basic reasons why:

1- insertable shoulder and elbow guards are typically smaller in overall coverage than stand alone armor

2- insertable armor is attached to your garments outer layer. Upon impact, your outer layer moves, thus allowing your inserts to also move. While an excellent fitting garment lessens this effect, there is no question that it still happens. Especially, with textile jackets.

3- insertable back protection is not only smaller but typically not rated to a back protection standard. and YES, there is a difference

4- isolating your armor and your outer layer greatly reduces the overall movement of the armor that is to protect you in a fall.

5- while it is more convenient to have insertable armor, what's more important to you? Convenience or protection?
That is the ultimate question you need to ask yourself when making an armor decision..
